Blue Lagoon (A.O. Beach Resort)

The Blue Lagoon on Pangabangan Island is a natural pool where the sea floor suddenly drops away inside an otherwise shallow lagoon. Surrounded by limestone cliffs, the water glows in shades of turquoise and deep blue, making it one of the most beautiful swimming spots in the Dinagat Islands.

The lagoon is managed as A.O. Beach Resort. A favourite way to enjoy it is from a floating bamboo raft or cottage, then jumping straight into the blue water. A view deck gives a wide view of the whole lagoon and the islands around it. Kayaking and canoeing are also possible, and fresh sea grapes (lato) are often available.

The Blue Lagoon is a short 5-minute walk from Pangabangan Beach, on the same island. Floating cottage rental is optional and paid separately.
